According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of hot rolled bar totaled 27,661 mt in November last year, remaining stable from October and down 1.3 percent from November 2023. By value, hot rolled bar exports totaled $46.4 million in November, compared to $45.6 million in the previous month.
The US shipped the most hot rolled bar to Mexico in November with 16,274 mt, compared to 14,376 mt in October and 16,461 mt in November 2023. The other top destination was Canada with 8,360 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US hot rolled bar in November.
