Ukraine’s November pipe exports up 1.5 percent from October level

In November this year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports increased by 1.5 percent compared to October and by 19.3 percent compared to November 2009, to 118,460 mt, valued at $128 million, up 2.7 percent month on month.

Specifically, in November this year Ukraine exported 59,180 mt of seamless pipes - down 0.5 percent month on month, of which 29,750 mt were delivered to Russia, with 5,340 mt exported to Libya and 4,080 mt shipped to US.

Ukraine's exports of steel pipes of more than 406.4 mm outside diameter amounted to 25,510 mt in November - down 8.3 percent month on month, of which 20,470 mt were delivered to Russia, 2,090 mt to Kazakhstan and 1,050 mt to Turkmenistan.

In addition, in November this year, Ukraine exported 33,770 mt of other tubes, pipes and hollow profiles - up 14.7 percent month on month, of which 11,700 mt were shipped to Russia, 6,090 mt to Belarus and 4,250 mt to Poland.

In January-November this year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports decreased by 10.4 percent year on year to about 1.128 million mt, valued at about $1.172 billion.
