Turkey’s steel export volume stable in 2019

In 2019, Turkey's steel exports remained stable year on year at 21.99 million mt, while the value of these exports moved down by 8.8 percent year on year to $16.07 billion, according to the data released by the Turkish Steel Producers' Association (TCUD).

In the given year, Turkey's long steel exports declined by 1.4 percent to 10.49 million mt, while its flat steel exports fell by six percent to 5.74 million mt, both on year-on-year basis. In 2019, the country’s semi-finished steel exports moved up by 30.9 percent to 1.34 million mt, year on year.
