Turkey’s Mescier Demir Çelik to build solar power plant in Uşak

Turkey’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has announced that the examination and evaluation process within the scope of the environmental impact assessment (EIA) application made by local steel producer Mescier Demir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., for its solar power plant project in Eşme, Van, has been completed and that the environmental impact assessment has begun.

Within the scope of the project with an investment cost of TRY 964.85 million ($27.31 million), a total of 52,174 panels each with a power output of 575 Wp will be installed. The construction period for the plant with a total power capacity of 30 MWm will be 10 months.
