Turkey’s HRC imports decrease by 2.1 percent in January-April

In April this year, Turkey's hot rolled coil (HRC) imports amounted to 342,279 metric tons, down 9.6 percent compared to March and up 8.5 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue of these imports totaled $241.92 million, increasing by 0.2 percent compared to March and dropping by 11.7 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the January-April period of this year, Turkey’s HRC imports amounted to 1.38 million mt, down 2.1 percent compared to the same period of last year, while the revenue of these imports totaled $898.41 million, decreasing by 26.6 percent year on year.
