Turkey's CRC imports down 25.9 percent in January

In January this year, Turkey's cold rolled coil (CRC) imports increased by 37.2 percent month on month to 43,778 mt, down 25.9 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The value of these imports was $31.6 million, rising by 58.2 percent compared to December and down 18.6 percent year on year.

In January, Russia ranked first among Turkey's CRC import sources, supplying 21,028 mt, up 13.32 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given period, Turkey's CRC imports from Japan totaled 9,876 mt.
