Turkey’s BMS to build solar power plant in Kırşehir

Turkey-based BMS Birleşik Metal Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (BMS) has announced that it will build a solar power plant in Kırşehir on an area of 149,000 m² with an investment of about $5.9 million.

According to feasibility studies, the plant will have an installed power of 6,240 kWp and is expected to annually produce approximately 10,800,000 kWh of electricity. With the given power plant, the company aims to source approximately 80 percent of its electricity consumption from clean energy sources.

It was reported that the power plant was connected to the national grid following the approval of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources TEDAŞ 14th Regional Directorate.
