Taiwan scrap imports in first two months of 2019

According to provisional customs data, Taiwan imported 401,102 mt of ferrous scrap in the first two months of 2019.

Taiwan imported 215,407 mt (54 percent) from the US, 35,433 mt (9 percent) from Japan, 29,373 mt (7 percent) from Hong Kong, 20,617 mt (5 percent) from Dominican Republic, 16,952 mt (4 percent) from Costa Rica, and 83,320 mt (21 percent) from other sources.
