Taiwan ferrous scrap import hit 3.08 million mt in January-November

According to provisional customs from the Taiwanese Finance Ministry, Taiwan imported 3.08 million mt of ferrous scrap in the January to November 2018 period.

Per table below, Taiwan imported about 2.69 million mt of scrap in 2017. With a preliminary estimate of 0.25 million mt ferrous scrap imports in December, Taiwan could reach an increase of 24 percent year-on-year.
