The Russian steel producer Severstal has announced that its subsidiary Severstal Ukraine, the key activity of which is selling zinc coated, polymer coated, hot rolled and cold rolled flats and profiled iron in the Ukrainian market, has renewed its cooperation with Interpipe Scientific and Industrial Production Group (Interpipe), the Ukrainian holding company specialized in the production and supply of pipe products.

According to Severstal Ukraine's director Igor Gutorov, in July-August this year Severstal Ukraine delivered to Interpipe about 1,500 mt of rolled products made from low-alloy steel grades - products which are not manufactured in Ukraine - and is to continue its deliveries in the coming months.

In the first half of 2009, Severstal Ukraine's revenue amounted to $4.9 million. The biggest share of its deliveries consisted of steel products for the construction sector.
