According to the data issued by China's Tianjin Metallurgy Group, in August this year the group's Tianjin-based subsidiary Qianan Yayi Co., Ltd produced 180,000 mt of pig iron, 170,000 mt of crude steel and 182,000 mt of rolled steel.
In 2009, the company had produced 1,967,700 mt of pig iron, rising by 21.46 percent year on year. In the same year, its outputs of crude steel and rolled steel had registered year-on-year increases of 24.64 percent and 22.65 percent, reaching 1,865,800 mt and 1,862,300 mt respectively.
