National Tariff Commission (NTC) of Pakistan yesterday cancelled an antidumping investigation for tinplate imported from France, Germany, Italy, the UK and the USA. As previously reported by SteelOrbis, the NTC, on December 6, 2005, initiated an antidumping duty investigation for tinplate imported from abovementioned countries upon the request of Siddiqsons Tinplate Limited, a domestic tinplate producer. The NTC, after detailed investigation, determined that injury suffered by the domestic industry during the period of investigation was negligible. Therefore, the subject investigation has been cancelled.
