MMK-Metiz increases its output in March

In March this year, Russian metal goods producer Magnitogorsk Steel and Wire Works OJSC (or MMK-Metiz) produced 38,300 mt of hardware, 7.7 percent higher than the scheduled 35,500 mt.

In particular, MMK-Metiz's production of welded mesh increased by more than two times, production of flux cored wire rose by 53 percent, production of nails increased by 42 percent, and output of calibrated steel went up by 33 percent - all on year-on-year basis. Since the beginning of the year, MMK-Metiz produced 122,600 mt of hardware, 6.9 percent higher than the target and marking an increase of 18.3 percent year on year.
