Liaoyang Steel Tube starts production at welded pipe facility

Liaoyang Steel Tube Co., a subsidiary of Liaoning Province-based Chinese steel tube manufacturer Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Company, has launched production at its welded pipe facility in Liaoyang, Liaoning, according to local media reports.

The construction of the facility commenced in April 2010, with a total investment of RMB 320 million ($50.79 million). The designed annual production capacity is 150,000-200,000 mt of spiral welded pipe, with an anticipated total industrial production value of RMB 1 billion ($158.73 million) per year.
