US issues preliminary AD results on certain pipes and tubes from Thailand

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the preliminary results of the administrative review of the antidumping duty (AD) order on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand for the period between March 1, 2024, and February 28, 2025.

The DOC preliminarily determined that Saha Thai Steel Pipe Public Co., Ltd. (Saha Thai) made sales of subject merchandise at less than normal value during the period of review, with a preliminary weighted-average dumping margin of 0.64 percent. Thai Premium Pipe Co. Ltd. (TPP), the sole non-examined company, was assigned the same rate.

The DOC rescinded the review with respect to 28 companies that had no suspended entries of subject merchandise during the period of review.
