INSIG’s semi-finished steel output rises 21 percent in last Iranian year

Iranian steelmaker Iran National Steel Industrial Group (INSIG) produced 300,000 mt of semi-finished steel (billet) and 1,260,000 mt of finished steel products (I-beam, rebar and tube) in the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2011), representing increases of 21 percent and 12 percent respectively compared to the previous Iranian year, according to company officials.
