Iran’s INSIG sees 22 percent rise in billet output

Iranian steelmaker Iranian National Steel Industrial Group (INSIG) produced 108,000 mt of billet and 462,000 mt of finished steel products (rebar, I-beam and pipes) in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), indicating increases of 22 percent and 16 percent respectively compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, according to company officials.
