INSIG’s billet production indicates nine percent fall

Iranian steelmaker Iran National Steel Industrial Group (INSIG) produced 45,000 mt of semi-finished steel (billet) and 238,000 mt of finished steel products (I-beam, rebar and tube) in the first two months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), representing a fall of nine percent and an increase of nine percent respectively compared to the same period of the previous Iranian year, according to company officials.
