Iran’s INSIG posts 12 percent rise in steel billet output

Iranian steelmaker Iranian National Steel Industrial Group (INSIG) produced 213,000 mt of steel billet and 882,000 mt of finished steel products (rebar, I-beam and pipes) in the first eight months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), indicating increases of 12 percent and nine percent respectively compared to the same period of the last Iranian year, according to company officials.
