Argentina's top manufacturing group, the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA) announced Tuesday that industrial production in the country in September grew 12.4 percent year-over-year, and 0.7 percent month-over-month.

The UIA cites record volumes of vehicle output, increases in oilseed crushing, and growth in steel manufacturing as the main causes of the surge.
