India’s TML inks pact with Ellenbarrie for long-term supply of industrial gases

India’s Tata Metaliks Limited (TML), a producer of pig iron and ductile iron (DI) pipes, has signed a long-term agreement with Ellenbarrie Industrial Gases Limited for industrial gas supply to the former’s plant located at Kharagpur in West Bengal state, a from statement from TML said on Friday, June 2.

TML said that, under the agreement, Ellenbarrrie will set up a dedicated production facility at the Kharagpur plant for supply of 250 mt of oxygen along with other gases like argon and nitrogen for TML’s blast furnaces.

The project includes the setting up of another 250 mt per day air separation unit by Ellenbarrie for merchant sales of industrial gases to other industries.
