Hongdian Ferroalloy achieves 2011 FeSi output target ahead of schedule

Chinese ferroalloy producer Hongdian Ferroalloy Co., subsidiary of Gansu Province-based Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group, has announced that its output of ferrosilicon (FeSi) in the current year up to December 7 totaled 73,100 mt, exceeding the production target for the whole of 2011.
 
In October, Hongdian Ferroalloy had produced 7,040 mt of silicon manganese, the first time its monthly silicon manganese output exceeded 7,000 mt.
