European commercial vehicle registrations up 8.2 percent in January

In January this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) increased by 8.2 percent year on year to 173,614 units, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA). 
 
Growth was sustained across all major markets. In January, the Spanish market posted the highest increase (+23.8%), followed by Italy (+11.4%) and France (+10.3%), all compared to January  last year.
