The European Commission (EC) has announced the clearing of the acquisition of two European flats producers - Italy's Trametal SpA and the UK's Spartan UK Ltd. - by the Ukrainian steel producer Metinvest.
Since the EC believes that the case does not pose any competition concerns, the transaction was cleared under simplified procedure.
