In January of the current year, Turkey's PPGI imports increased by 96.01 percent year on year to 6,286 metric tons and were up 21.99 percent month on month, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The value of these imports amounted to $6.18 million, up 56.93 percent year on year and increasing by 15.60 percent month on month.
In January this year, Turkey's main PPGI import sources were China and Belgium, with PPGI imports from China up 99.26 percent year on year to 3,768 mt.
