CSC’s steel output down 6.11 percent in July from June

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in July this year its steel production volume totaled 666,420 metric tons, decreasing by 6.11 percent compared to June and down 9.2 year on year.

In July, CSC's steel product sales volume amounted to 764,306 metric tons, up 3.8 percent compared to the previous month and up 0.14 compared to July 2011.

In the month in question, the steelmaker's sales revenues amounted to NTD 17.67 billion ($589.53 million), up by 3.67 percent month on month and down 12.5 percent year on year.
