CSC’s steel output increases in October over September

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in October this year its steel production volume totaled 735,036 metric tons, increasing 5.6 percent month on month and decreasing 11.6 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
     
In October, CSC's sales volume was 734,325 metric tons, decreasing by 4.2 percent as compared to September this year and down 12.9 percent year on year.

In the month in question, the steelmaker's sales revenues amounted to NTD 19.16 billion ($636.02 million), falling by 3.8 percent month on month and 7.3 percent year on year.
