CPCA: China’s passenger vehicle retail sales to total 1.9 million units in July

Passenger vehicle retail sales in China are forecast to amount to 1.9 million units in July this year, which would be a decline compared to June, according to the preliminary statistics by China Passenger Car Association (CPCA).

During the summer holidays, more people go driving with their families, which boosts vehicle purchases, but demand has still been insufficient, which has exerted a negative impact on passenger vehicle retail sales.
