Chongqing Steel’s crude steel output rises by 50.6 percent in November

According to Chongqing-based Chinese steel producer Chongqing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Chongqing Steel), in November this year its crude steel production came to 386,500 mt, up 50.6 percent compared with 256,600 mt in the same period of last year. In November, the steelmaker's pig iron production totaled 104,928 mt, with an average daily output of 3,498 mt.

During the January-November period of this year, Chongqing Steel's total output of crude steel amounted to 3.42 million mt, increasing by 32 percent from 2.59 million in the corresponding period of 2009.
