Data from China's National Bureau of Statistics reveal that in November this year China's crude steel output reached 50.17 million mt, up 4.8 percent year on year or 130,000 mt less than in October. Average daily crude steel output in China in November was 1.6723 million mt, up 49,800 mt over the October figure. China's crude steel output in the January-November period of the current year was 577.25 million mt, up 10.1 percent year on year.
In November, China's pig iron and finished steel outputs amounted to 46.92 million mt and 65.89 million mt respectively, up three percent and 4.6 percent year on year. National pig iron and finished steel outputs in the January-November period came to 543.57 million mt and 730.29 million mt respectively, up eight percent and 15.7 percent year on year.
