Brazil's motor vehicle output up 5.3 percent in October from September

Brazil's motor vehicle output (excluding agricultural vehicles) in October this year increased by 5.3 percent from the previous month and rose by 42.2 percent year on year to 249,932 units, according to the Brazilian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (Anfavea). Meanwhile, in the first ten months of this year, the country's motor vehicle output (excluding agricultural vehicles) grew by 28.5 percent year on year 2,236,890 units.

New motor vehicle registrations (excluding agricultural vehicles) in Brazil totaled 202,857 units in October this year, up 1.8 percent compared to September and increasing by 27.6 percent year on year. In the January-October period of this year, the country's new motor vehicle registrations (excluding agricultural vehicles) increased by 9.3 percent year on year to 1,822,862 units. 

Meanwhile, Brazil's motor vehicle exports in October this year (excluding agricultural vehicles) totaled 61,554 units, increasing by 2.5 percent compared to the previous month and up 66.6 percent year on year. In the first ten months of this year, Brazil's motor vehicle exports totaled 627,820 units, up 56.7 percent year on year.
