Bosch to invest $250 million in Mexico for auto parts plant

German manufacturer Bosch will invest $250 million in the central Mexican state of Aguascalientes to manufacture the Integrated Power Brake (IPB) braking system and make Mexico the only country in America to manufacture this product, according to a local press report.

"Bosch 's new investment in Aguascalientes, of MXN 4,400 million ($250 million) will begin its formal operations in July 2024," published the digital media Líder Empresarial.

The expansion of the plant will generate approximately 400 new jobs and the Bosch Aguascalientes plant will be the only one in America to manufacture this braking system. Currently they are only manufactured in Germany and China.
