Australia launches AD duty investigation on Chinese HDG steel angle

The Australian Government Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation on imports of hot dip galvanized (HDG) steel angle from China.

The investigation was launched upon the request of local hot dip galvanized steel angle producer Galintel Pty Ltd and the investigation covers the period between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018.

The products subject to the investigation are classified under the following Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers: 7216.61.00, 7228.70.00, 7308.30.00 and 7308.90.00.
