Demand has remained at moderate levels in Turkish welded pipe market and prices have not changed since last week. "Our production is full until October and we think soon we will offer also for November production. Our prices are accepted by buyers and if scrap prices will increase further, we believe they will affect hot rolled coil and pipe prices also positively," a producer told SteelOrbis. Local prices are $540-560/mt ex-works.
On the export side prices have also not changed and they are at $520-540/mt FOB but demand has continued to be at low levels due to summer break in the EU and Covid-19 outbreak. But exporters hope to see a better demand after the summer break in the EU.

** Prices are given for ERW pipes and hollow sections with 2-4 mm wall thickness made from HRC of S235 grade as per EN 10219, on theoretical weight basis.
