Sources within the US domestic and import OCTG market have indicated that spot market prices “aren’t really moving due to too much inventory.”

As such, transaction prices are unchanged week-over-week.

Current US domestic J55 ERW OCTG spot market prices are holding at $60.00-$62.50 cwt. ($1,322-$1,378/mt or $1,200-$1,250/nt), ex-mill, although it’s unclear whether recent upticks in US HRC prices will have an impact on ex-mill prices moving forward.
