SteelOrbis sources have indicated that spot market prices for US domestic HSS tubing are unchanged week-over-week, at an average transaction price of $44 cwt. ($970/mt to $880/nt), ex-mill. However, some sources have reported discounts of up to $2.00 cwt. ($44/mt or $40/nt) below that price point based on volume. As with last week, it’s largely suspected that an official mill price adjustment is imminent.
