US HSS prices maintain sideways trend

Similar to last week, SteelOrbis has confirmed that spot market prices for US domestic hollow structural sections (HSS) tubing continue to hold at $107-$108 cwt.  ($2,359-$2,381/mt or $2,140-$2,160/nt), FOB mill, which is consistent with price points heard for the past 8 weeks. Sources, however, have indicated that some mills have been willing to provide discounts up to $4 cwt. ($88/mt or $80/nt) below this price range based on volume.
