SteelOrbis has been informed that the local prices for medium size rebar in the Syrian market are currently at SYP 29,000/mt ($565/mt) ex-works on actual weight basis, excluding VAT, for weekly deferred payments.
The local production rebar prices in the Syrian domestic market have decreased by SYP 6,000/mt ($130/mt) compared to last week. Also, end-user demand in this market has this week weakened compared to last week.
