SteelOrbis has learned that ex-CIS mesh quality wire rods are being offered to the export markets at $960-970/mt FOB on actual weight basis for June shipment.
The prices in question were very unlikely to find general acceptance at the beginning of April. However, the fact that the Turkish producers are offering wire rods to the export market at $1,000/mt FOB may help the CIS producers in their sales to the Middle East.
