However most international buyers are in wait-and-see mode as they expect Turkish merchant bar export prices may fall further. Sources report a few merchant bar re-rollers are offering aggressive prices below $640/mt FOB in order to generate sales.
Meanwhile, the SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $500-535/mt CFR, up by $5/mt week on week.
