Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official equal angle export prices stable at $610-630/mt FOB, for late April shipment, amid the sluggish international demand and the approach of the Eid holiday.
A few merchant bar re-rollers are testing $640/mt FOB, depending on the size and the region. However, this level still seems a bit high under the current market conditions.
The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $470-495/mt CFR, stable over the past week.
