Over the past two weeks, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have raised their official export prices by $10/mt to $610-630/mt FOB against the backdrop of higher import scrap prices. Currently, official ex-Turkey equal angle offers are standing at $610-630/mt FOB, for April shipment.
A few merchant bar re-rollers are even testing $600/mt FOB, depending on the region, in order to generate sales, SteelOrbis has heard.
The SteelOrbis daily Turkish import billet reference price stands at $460-486/mt CFR, versus $455-487/mt CFR two weeks ago.
