Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official export prices unchanged at $590-620/mt FOB. Currently, official ex-Turkey equal angle offers are standing at $590-620/mt FOB, for January-early February shipment ahead of the Christmas and New Year holiday season. According to sources, a few merchant bar re-rollers have even started testing slightly higher levels, around $10/mt higher than the abovementioned price range, for extended delivery periods, though these prices seem very difficult to achieve under the current market conditions.
The SteelOrbis daily Turkish import billet reference price stands at $460-490/mt CFR, also stable week on week.
