Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official equal angle export prices unchanged at $610-630/mt FOB, for late April-May shipment, amid sluggish international demand.
A few merchant bar re-rollers are still testing $640/mt FOB, depending on the size and the region. However, this level still seems a bit high under the current market conditions.
The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $470-495/mt CFR, also unchanged week on week.
