Over the past week, most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official export prices unchanged at $600-620/mt FOB ahead of Ramadan and amid sluggish international demand. Currently, official ex-Turkey equal angle offers are standing at $600-620/mt FOB, for late March-April shipment.
A few merchant bar re-rollers are testing $590/mt FOB, depending on the region, in order to generate sales, SteelOrbis has heard.
The SteelOrbis daily Turkish import billet reference price stands at $455-487/mt CFR, only up by $5/mt on the lower end week on week.
