As of May 22, a few Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have cut their export offers by $5/mt to $625-635/mt FOB for June shipment compared to May 15, against the backdrop of the sluggish international demand. Most European buyers are in a wait and see stance as the new quota round will start July 1.
Meanwhile, the SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $510-540/mt CFR unchanged over the past week.
