Chinese steelmaker Wuhan Iron and Steel Co. (WISCO) has issued its steel sales prices for July shipment. The details are as follows (all comparisons being with June prices):
1. Hot rolled coil (HRC)
Prices of HRC have remained unchanged. As a result, 3.0 mm x 1,500 mm SPHC HRC is priced at RMB 3,400/mt ($548/mt), 2.75 mm x 1,250 mm Q235 HRC is priced at RMB 3,410/mt ($550/mt) and 5.5 mm x 1,500 mm Q235 HRC costs RMB 3,370/mt ($544/mt).
2. Rolled plates
Prices of rolled plate have remain unchanged. Currently, 14-40 mm Q235 medium plates are priced at RMB 3,600/mt ($581/mt), while the price of 14-40 mm Q345 low alloy plates is at RMB 3,710/mt ($599/mt).
3. Cold rolled coil (CRC)
Prices of CRC have remained unchanged. Currently, the price of 1.0 mm Q195 cold rolled coil is at RMB 4,050/mt ($653/mt), 1.0 mm x 1,250 mm x C Q195 cold rolled coil is priced at RMB 4,020/mt ($648/mt).
4. Hot dip galvanizing(HDG)
Prices of HDG have remained unchanged. As a result, the price of 1.0 mm DX51D+Z hot dip galvanized coil is at RMB 4,780/mt ($771/mt).
5. Pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI)
Prices of PPGI have remained unchanged, with 0.45 mm TDC51D+Z PPGI coil still priced at RMB) 5,860/mt ($945/mt).
6. Tinplate
Prices of tinplate have remained unchanged. Currently, 0.24 mm MR electric tinplate is priced at RMB 5,850/mt ($944/mt).
7. Wire rod
Prices of wire rod have remained stable. As a result, 6.5 mm 45# high-strength wire rod is priced at RMB 3,360/mt ($542/mt), while 6.5 mm SWRCH22A cold heading steel is priced at RMB 3,440/mt ($555/mt).
8. Grain-oriented silicon steel
Prices of 23RK080, 23RK085, 23QG085, 27RK085, 27RK090 and 27QG090 are up RMB 300/mt ($48/mt), while other grain-oriented silicon steel prices have remained unchanged.
9. Prices of electro-galvanized products, section steel, and non-grain-oriented (NGO) silicon steel have remained unchanged.
All prices are ex-works, excluding 17 percent VAT, and are effective immediately.
