Erdemir announces new price list for local sales

Turkish integrated steel producer Erdemir has announced a new price list on October 19, 2006, in which it makes changes in the prices of its tinplate, plate, hot rolled, cold rolled and galvanized sheets products. According to the new price list released by Erdemir, the price of galvanized products has been increased by $40/mt, while the prices of tinplates and plate have been decreased by $30/mt. Moreover, the prices of hot rolled and cold rolled products have been reduced by $10/mt and $15$/mt, respectively. The new base prices effective for local sales as of October 19, 2006, are as follows:
