CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $690/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 5,850/mt ($1,110/mt), against BRL 6,000/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In October, Brazil exported 24,100 mt and imported 20,400 mt of CRC against, respectively, 25,900 mt and 13,500 mt in September.
The destinations of the exports in October were Germany (21,400 mt at $665/mt) and South American countries (2,700 mt at $1,001/mt), FOB conditions. The exporters were Usiminas (22,600 mt) and ArcelorMittal (1,500 mt).
The imports were from China (11,000 mt at $560/mt), South Korea (8,600 mt at $544/mt), Egypt (600 mt at $699/mt), and the US (200 mt at $652/mt), also FOB conditions.
