CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $710/mt, CFR conditions, against $700/mt two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,100/mt ($1,134/mt), against $5,950/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
In December, Brazil exported 3,300 mt and imported 18,600 mt of CRC, against respectively 34,900 mt and 32,500 mt in November.
According to sources, the sharp decline of the CRC exports reflects reduced domestic production, with priority ascribed to the domestic market.
